The Furst... Pinot Blanc Alsace

Dan Steffan, Artist The Furst Labels, commissioned by Eagle Eye Brands Notes on my work: To be an ‘artist’ doesn’t mean much in today’s world. To have artistic ability is blasé. Choosing to dedicate my life to this ability is a commitment, and only a total commitment makes sense to me. The Human Being! That is the subject that I am most impassioned by, and I doubt that I have come to the end of my troubles with this strange animal. Beyond my work as a creator, I like to be with the ‘forgotten’, those who have been left behind, or those we run from. This choice opened the doors to halfway houses, hospices and homes for the autistic. Beyond fights, petty rivalries and ego parties, this is precisely in life where each person can give and receive. Mme Steffan has been honored for her work throughout France and Eastern Europe, including a 2004 exhibition at Halle Saint Pierre in Paris. Her 1992 creation of a large mural, working with prisoners from Mulhouse, was the subject of a film entitled "The Drive”
