"Ferraio is a blacksmith referring to difficult to farm soils. Ferraio takes its name from the ancient craft of blacksmiths who were traditionally important figures in Tuscan farms. Very pleasant floral notes of violet and hyacinth as well as those of red fruit such as blackberries and currants.
